Frequently asked questions
It is never to early to get in my books. Sessions fill quickly and I am not always able to accommodate last minute inquiries. If you are expecting a baby, it is best to plan far in advance for a newborn session. I am only able to accommodate 4/5 newborns a month. Book in your third trimester to guarantee yourself a slot once the baby is born.
Do not stress over your littles being on their best behavior during a session- I promise I will get the shots. Let your kiddos lead the session. Laugh, have fun, be silly. For golden hour sessions with littles plan naps accordingly, that day. Pack snacks and again just trust the possess!
When it comes to newborn in home sessions, it is very important to de-clutter and clean the areas that will be photographed. Common areas I use during these sessions are: nursery, parents' room, and living room. Please plan accordingly, as any extra clutter will not be edited out of the pictures.
Color pallets are very important while planning your outfits for the session. Neutrals are beautiful in all scenarios. If you are having your pictures taken in a park, try to stay away from greens as you will blend into the surroundings. I encourage you to choose clothing that makes you feel confident and beautiful. Don’t be afraid to play with some textured pieces, Pinterest will be your best friend and as always I am happy to offer styling advice.
